Subversions on Assignment: Des Moines
For reasons I now believe will remain forever unexplained, I was sent to Des Moines over Labor Day weekend. My mission, as it were, was to find out whether or not a reasonably hip, reasonably good looking person could have a good time in Iowa's most populous city. I was accompanied on this most holy of quests by four beautiful women: Amy Elliott, Bridget Brave, Kat Berger, and Jon Anne Willow. Yeah, I know. Tough assignment.
